Puttin' On The Ritz
SOUTHERN ARC DANCE, presented by the Newnan Cultural Arts Commission in an evening of dance set to the music of Mozart, Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, & Goebbels.
The evening consists of three premier dance pieces:
The first piece is set to the music of Mozart, with the collaboration of Central Education Center(backdrop) and Newnan Theater Company(spoken word).
Inspired by the Ginger Rogers - Fred Astaire era, the second performance is set to the music of Cole Porter, Irvin Berlin, and Bennie Goodman.
The final piece is set to the music of 21st Century composer Heiner Goebbels.
Southern Arc Dance is Coweta County's new professional dance theater company, bringing quality dance performance to Newnan and the surrounding area.
Presented at the Wadsworth Auditorium, Downtown Newnan on November 16 2014, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15.
