Raise the Roots 2014
Join us for a unique dinner at Holly's Corner (next to Magpies) on Monday, November 10th from 6-9 pm. Food will be prepared by Holly's Eventful Dining staff. Hor d'oeuvres will be served beginning at 6 pm, and dinner will be served promptly at 6:30 PM. Guests will have an opportunity to learn about Beardsley Farm, meet farm volunteers, and share their experiences gardening and cooking in Knoxville and East Tennessee.

Admission: Tickets are $52.74 for individuals, and $166.59 for a table of four.
About the dinner: The supper will be vegetarian, and vegan options will be available upon advance request. The supper will be locally sourced and most of the produce is grown at Beardsley Community Farm.
About beverages: We will serve water, tea, and coffee. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine. There will be a wine corkage fee of $10 per bottle.
Special requests: Please email beardsleyfarm@gmail.com if you have any dietary restrictions or needs, to request a vegan option, and for any special seating requests (i.e., You would like to sit with friends who purchased separate tickets).

About CAC Beardsley Farm:
CAC Beardsley Community Farm has promoted food security and sustainable urban agriculture through practice, education, and community outreach for 15 years. Beardsley Farm grows and donates over 4,000 pounds of produce annually to local food pantries, and a women's shelter. The farm additionally offers extensive child, youth, and adult education programming on growing food organically. We also offer 30 free garden plots for members of our local community and host an urban fruit orchard in Malcolm Martin Park.
All of this is made possible by community support and volunteers! Volunteers have the opportunity to learn a wide range of gardening skills, such as composting, seed saving, beekeeping, basic construction, and everything in-between.
