The Ripple Effect by: Casey Ross 1/18
Support CRP (Casey Ross Productions) in their first season, starting with the world premier of Ross's new play, The Ripple Effect.
Fry, a homeless philosopher, has a theory. It's going to be big. It's going to change the world, and it's going to take some help. When he takes out a simple Craigslist ad requesting the aid of an "ideas man" to help get things rolling on his crazy scheme, to change the world, the last person he expected to meet with was Micheal, a clean cut and kind ex-priest. The disparate duo put together the best team of miscreants, low-lifes, madmen, strippers and even the elderly to start spreading the word of Ripples. But when it all loses its whimsy and the group falls into real trouble, will the team be able to continue to believe that "ripples start small and grow", or will the waters stop flowing? This play asks for belief in the absurd and hope in humanity with big laughs and moments of genuine reality. See it for the first time January 9-11th and 16-18th at Grove Haus in Fountain Square, all shows at 8PM.
