The kaleidoscopic account of a Robin Hood-esque figure called "the serpent", his followers, and their brutal, ritualistic assault against the privileged class.
SERPENT DREAMS OF A RED RAINBOW is a theatrical collage of found text, sound, and objects arranged in a fevered attempt to reconstruct the events of the Nat Turner slave rebellion interweaving movement & imagery from the Robin Hood lore to spin a yarn at once mythic and viscerally current.
