Following the honor of being named Madison's Favorite folk/bluegrass artist of 2014, Count This Penny will be releasing a long-awaited EP on Tuesday, November 4th and commencing a nationwide tour in support of the record.
The five-song outing, entitled Wolves Are Sheep, finds the band introducing songs that ring out shinier - and sharper around the edges - than their earlier repertoire. Jonk Music has premiered the standout lead single "Get Your Gun", calling it "a show-stopper, a real heart sinker." The remaining songs on Wolves Are Sheep further serve to reflect a band in their prime, delivering on the promise of their first steps onto the stage.
Wolves Are Sheep's release coincides with the first date of Count This Penny's nationwide tour, beginning with a Communion Clubnight in New York and continuing with shows alongside The Soil & The Sun, American Aquarium, Highasakite and Mikhael Paskalev.
Welcome them home with this special intimate show that will showcase songs both new and old.
