Genevieve Carson presents UNADULT

Los Angeles-based dancer and choreographer Genevieve Carson presents her first evening length work, "Unadult", a dance theatre experience that invites the audience into a poignant and hauntingly honest look at the female experience of growing into womanhood.

The movement takes the performers and audience on a wild ride, inducing a sense of awe. Grand moments of physical prowess and bravery are juxtaposed by moments of delicacy and technical refinement.

Through extreme physical tasks and hilarious vocalizations, the cast of five phenomenal female performers set off on a journey filled with the triumphs and defeats that lead to self-discovery.

The piece is set against a brilliant soundtrack of various artists including Tom Waits, Timber Timbre, Lindsey Buckingham, and Cliff Martinez.
