The clan has taken over the theater -- with no promises that the audience will leave alive -- then when they learn that the Dark Lord and Artemis the Slayer are both headed their way on the same night, and thus begins a night of love and danger. Vamp helps his Queen borrow a body for the night. Gricel is attacked by Dogboy (a vampire transformed into a dog by the loss of too many loved ones) but Gricel is saved, and then enchanted, by a grieving witch. When Gricel and Hans fall in love, they must find a way to escape the witch. News reporter Virginia and clan scion Thomas fall in love; in an attempt to protect the clan, Virginia goes alone to try to reason with the Slayer. Party girls Paris and Nicole find their party fun goes awry after their new drinking friend Jenny wanders away from the disco. The stories are interwoven and come to their own ends by the end of the night in the lives of this vampire clan.
