silent move
At once humorous and moving, "silent move" the first production from Denver independent dance company Projekt Move, embraces a black-and-white silent film aesthetic to explore the frantic clamor and disconnect of our modern times. Presented through the intersecting stories of five women on a train, the dancers portray both everywoman and individuals as they investigate issues of authentic identity and connection in a digital age. Offbeat-yet-timeless costumes and a Vaudevillian-inspired cleverness of movement add an element of fun as they engage the audience in the dancers' journeys of transformation. Performance is suitable for ages 8 and above.
