Two Andys, On Each End of an Axe
Written & Performed by Andrew Peck
Developed through the Solo Performance Workshop with Martha Rynberg.
You say, "Trauma!" Andy says, "Teachable moment."
You say, "Terror!" Andy says, "When life gives you lemons..."
When that "other Andy" shows up with an axe and a club and meth and mental illness--those are some sour lemons. But our Andy's got Buttercup and Rusty (his stuffed dog and his fairy grandfather) bringing the sweetness; he just has to get the mix right. Oh, and we have to figure out what to do with the "other Andy," now that he's trashed the place.
Ask Me (Almost) Anything

Julie loves it when you ask her questions, specific questions like, "How many shoe laces do you own?" She's also quite experienced with answering questions like, "What is good on the menu? Is there anything special tonight?" But some questions just might piss her off, like, "Are you an artist?" Some questions she may never be ready to answer.
ABOUT THE SOLO PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP:
Solo Performance Workshop supports the development of professional level theatrical solo performance. Each participant creates a unique and personal solo performance piece using a variety of writing and performance techniques. The Workshop culminates with a public performance where each participant's work is showcased.
SPW is recommended for performers of all disciplines, including actors, writers, comedians, spoken word artists, musicians and dancers. All levels of experience are welcome, from those who have never been on stage before to those preparing a piece for a professional production or audition. Members of the Workshop have taken their shows to stages all over the Bay Area, as well as venues and festivals from Los Angeles to New York.
Note: Online tickets are $10 per seat. At-the-door tickets are $15 per seat.
