Create a Body of Light (Arkaya Yoga)
An introduction to Arkaya (light, healing, inspiration) Yoga and the Jyothi (inner illumination) Kriyas which are unique to this system. Diwali is the festival of lights which symbolises good over evil. These practices will help you tune into your highest. They will help you access prana or life force energy and use it for healing and protection. ARKAYA YOGA IS MINDFUL AND DEEPLY TRANSFORMATIONAL. IT IS RELAXING,PLAYFUL AND ALLOWS ONE TO SYNCHRONISE WITH SOURCE. ALLOW THE LIGHT IN YOU TO SHINE THROUGH

Facilitator's profile:
Maitreyi is originally from India and teaches in Vancouver in the summers. She was given many titles such as Yogacharini (guide), Yoga chemmal (expert) and Yoga shiromani (gem) in India since 1997. She is a Master teacher and founder of Arkaya Yoga. She has trained yoga teachers and has been invited to speak at various conferences around the world, in Dubai, Srilanka, Hong Kong, U.S.A and Sweden. Yogacharini Maitreyi has over 100 published articles in journals and is a regular  columnist for one of South India's largest news daily called The Hindu on Yoga and Holistic Health. She has opened the well being section of the Indian summer festival with kirtan for the last three years as well as shares her joy for the divine at other events. Arkaya yoga is mindful, gentle, deep, transformational and rooted in classical yoga. It helps one connect to different dimensions of oneself and all of life to embrace life with grace. It also naturally enables one to lead an organic life. She has also trained many corporate heads in the art and science of self management. Her one day workshop " The Magick of Mindfulness" is a comprehensive bliss-shop for working on many dimensions of one's existence.
