An evening of unusually good stories and refreshments.
The Grownup Ladies -- Rebecca Beegle & Annie La Ganga -- and featured guests Holly Fisher Sabiston, Rosie Rosenthal, Mark Dallman, and Heather McLeod will tell funny, true stories in the intimate setting of a private home.

THE GROWNUP LADY STORY COMPANY is Rebecca Beegle and Annie La Ganga, two extraordinary hostesses and accomplished entertainers who produce, perform, and emcee warm and hilarious storytelling events in private homes as well as traditional (and nontraditional) theatrical venues.
HOLLY SABISTON, our hostess for the evening, is an image archivist for an architecture firm (Try to say that five times fast). She really only wants to dream she is flying, which would mean things are going super-well in her waking life. She met her husband Bob, incidentally, working on a movie called Waking Life. For a little while, she is taking a shot at trading beloved images for words with this storytelling thing.
ROSIE ROSENTHAL has lived in Austin for 10 years where she has become a therapist, mom to two boys, and wife to a man who has always believed she is secretly a performer at heart.
MARK DALLMAN is a transplanted transplant, now in Austin for nearly 21 years, who affectionately calls Coatesville Pennsylvania his home town, although he didn't grow up there and only lived there for 6 months. A strikingly handsome chap and a computer genius for over 40 years, he is now transitioning to real estate investments to "get out from under the man." For fun he likes to party with prostitutes, drink Southern Comfort and see live stand-up comedy (not necessarily in that order.)
HEATHER MCLEOD lives in Austin. She spends part of her time taking care of her family, part of her time copyediting and proofreading young adult novels, and part of her time writing poems. Any leftover time is spent eating hummus and/or training the dog.
