Yoga is a gentle opening and stretching of the body that connects us to our inner strength to feel lighter and more at peace. A sequence of postures and movement that you take at your own level and pace that helps you connect mind, body, and spirit. Whether it's your first time doing yoga or you've done it many times, Paul Denniston's class is for you.

Yoga is also a therapeutic tool to help us deal with grief. Life includes loss and grief is our response to it. All types of loss bring pain, sadness, and anger which get stuck in our mind and body. As challenging as it is to deal with such suffering, the grief is actually a reflection of love. Honoring grief is honoring that love. Yoga helps us to befriend the body by accepting the present moment with compassion. The intention of Grief Yoga is to connect many branches of yoga to help release sadness, anger and regret from the mind and body to connect us to the gift of life.
Wear loose fitting comfy clothing.

Bring a yoga mat if you have one, but there will be extras if you don't.

Reserving and paying through Brown Paper Tickets will guarantee your spot. You may RSVP and opt to pay in cash at the door, but take note that this will only allow you a spot if space is still available. Suggested donations are $20, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
