Inside the Mind of a Crime Writer: M R Hall
St Albans Literary Festival is thrilled to welcome BAFTA award nominated crime author M R Hall to the Clarion Hotel. Having been nominated for a second CWA Gold Dagger Award for his previous novel, The Flight, M R Hall's most recent book The Burning was hotly anticipated. Published in February this year the gripping and atmospheric plot has proved to be another page-turner in the hugely popular series of Coroner Jenny Cooper novels.
M R Hall is a charismatic and entertaining speaker and will talk about the inspiration behind the Jenny Cooper novels, his career as a Criminal Barrister and TV scriptwriter for episodes of Judge John Deed and Kavanagh QC, followed by a Q&A session. This exciting event promises to be a huge hit with crime lovers so book early to be sure of a place.
