Creative Writing Back-to-basics Session: Writing Prompts Workshop
An informal session on getting started or restarted and making use of writing prompts to generate new material, experiment with technique and learn to write outside our comfort zone. During this 2 hour session we'll explore a series of visual, verbal and group writing prompts. Whether experimenting with ecphrasis or loosening-up with a game of consequences, you'll leave the session with new material and ideas, stretched writing muscles, and a set of exercises to make use of at home. Session led by author Helen Gordon, Creative Writing tutor at University of Hertfordshire.
