Closing our season is the popular revival of the musical comedy hit "Irene". The show starring Debbie Reynolds, making her Broadway debut as Irene, opened in 1973. Gower Champion directed and the show received multiple awards, including a Tony Award, Theatre World Award and Outer Critics Circle Award.
This musical offers a blockbuster melange of great songs, including "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows", "You Made Me Love You", "Alice Blue Gown", "An Irish Girl", "They Go Wild Over Me", and the title song "Irene".
