Our rotating reading series returns, pairing a new play with a new adaptation to ask, how does your position (in time or space) create perspective? Every performance is followed by a talk-back with the artists and guest scholars.
In THE WALL by Kevin Brewer, two young people meet "voice-to-voice," and grapple with the freedom and uncertainty that comes from a bond with someone you've never seen.
In THE MUSES SONG: A TALE OF TROY the texts of Shakespeare's Troilus & Cressida and Euripides' The Trojan Women are woven together, highlighting the stark differences in the way a war is viewed "Before" and "After".
