Welcome to India
Many fantasize about leaving the materialism of the West in search of life's meaning in spiritual India. Victoria Kjos, a former lawyer/banker/realtor/teacher/consultant, concluded there was more to living than her day-to-day life in Phoenix, AZ.
Alone, with only two outdated guidebooks, this Renaissance woman and practitioner of yoga, qigong and meditation,left the United States with no plans aside from following her inner guidance. Her compass was a deep-seated belief in humanity's oneness and connection to the divine. Join Ms. Kjos on a journey that is occasionally heartrending, sometimes challenging, often hysterical, and always poignant.
Welcome to India is based on journals kept during her 2012 trip through South India.
