Laser Cutting and Engraving 101
The TVCoG has two laser cutters, useful for making all sorts of things. The ability to vary the depth of cut very precisely allows users to cut completely through material or etch interesting designs on to the surface. Many different materials can be used: paper, wood, cardboard, foam core, craft foam, acrylic, most plastics, slate, and more. Learn the basics of cutting materials and engraving.
This is a three hour class that will complete a cutting and engraving project with the laser cutter to illustrate the complete process.
