Event

SIDD and Darkroom 6
SIDD starts at 7:30pm and Darkroom follows at 9pm.

After a sold-out run at the Gift Theatre in Chicago, SIDD will perform for 2 nights at Access Theater. Set in a modern major city, Sidd leaves the cozy comfort of the "burbs" in order to find the true meaning of happiness in the Big City. The only thing stopping him: The People. This production of SIDD sets the popular Herman Hesse tale in contemporary times. Our story follows a man on his search for enlightenment (instead of seeking a job with benefits) and explores the perceptions that our culture has on this individual.

SIDD created by New Light Theater Project
Directed by Melissa Firlit and Michael Thomas Walker
Production Stage Manager Juni Li
Featuring Michael Aguirre, Amanda Berry (Friday night only), Corrie Blissit, David Bodenschatz, Bethany Geraghty, Courtney Knysch (Thursday night only), Sarah Norris, and Nick Walsh

Darkroom follows the production of SIDD and is FREE! Check out some exciting works-in-progress from a group of terrific artists. Our Darkroom Lineup:
