TERUSAKI Steve is an Executive Business Coach working with organizations and individuals facing difficult transitions and business challenges. His coaching methodology focuses on helping his clients uncover solutions deeply hidden because of the obstacle that prevent them from clearly seeing new possibilities. His coaching practice, SEIDO Consulting, LLC, is his encore career after 30+ years in the architecture/planning/ engineering industry where he has held multiple C-level positions: Chief Administrative Officer; Chief Operating Office and Chief Executive Officer. His previous career in A/E has taken him throughout the world, working with clients in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Greater China, Japan and Korea; and living and working in Hong Kong to manage the office of a US multi-national corporation. As a Vistage Chair, Steve is currently building a Peer Forum focused on CEO's, Presidents, key business leaders and business owners who are making a difference in today's world. Steve holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley; an MLA (Landscape Architecture) from the School of Natural Resources & Environment from the University of Michigan; and a BA with High Honors in Asian Studies and Environmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara. He is certified as a Business Coach by Resource Associates Corporation Academy; is certified to offer a suite of behavior assessments from Innermetrix; and is also certified as a Total Quality Institute trainer by Resource Associates Corporation. He is active in his community, sitting on several non-profit boards; member of the Oakland Chinatown Coalition; community representative for the City of Oakland on the Alameda County Transportation Commission Advisory Committee for the I-880 improvements; and co-president of the Berkeley-Haas Business School East Bay Alumni Chapter. Steve enjoys his free time participating in US Masters swimming, cycling and playing piano and other keyboards. He is married with two sons who have recently completed their graduate and undergraduate degrees.
