"Early Apparitions"
A salon performance of music and text in development for "Apparitions at an Exhibition", to be presented at Mariposa Studio in San Francisco's Mission District in 2015.

Writer/performer John LeFan
with Mimi Heft (vocals & guitar)
and Bob Taxin (dobro, guitar, vocals)

The work is character driven, about people from the high deserts of New Mexico to the trendy San Francisco Mission.
Music is Delta blues influenced folk, jazz acoustic.

Writer John LeFan is from the Texas/Louisiana border and was born stomping on the two and the four.

Bob Taxin, actor, magician & former Ringling Bros. clown, picked up the dobro & didn't look back.

Mimi Heft brings beautiful interpretation & vocal range to these new songs. We borrow her from her own band, Five-Legged Mule.

The 2015 full production of "Apparitions at an Exhibition" will be a performance gallery evening event. It will include poems, songs, and text by John LeFan, performed by a company of actor/musicians, with paintings and installation by Anna Dal Pino.
