Storytelling Workshop with Giulia Rozzi
Wednesday and Thursday 22-23rd 7-10pm

Whether you want to perform in front of an audience or simply get better at telling a good story - this two day workshop will introduce you the art of comedic storytelling and help you get more comfortable being yourself as you share stories about yourself.

Through verbal and written exercises we'll find what stories to tell, work on point of view, character, and finding the truth in the tale. Each student will be coached on a story (or two) and receive guidance and feedback from the instructor and other students. The goal is for students to leave class with a stronger stage presence, increased confidence, improved delivery and more ideas for stories to tell.

About the instructor:
Giulia Rozzi is a NYC based comedian, actress and writer. Her personal, blunt, and animated comedy has earned her the honor of being a Moth GrandSLAM Champion, a Boston Comedy Festival finalist, one of The Frisky's Top 15 To Watch, and two ECNY "Best Female Stand Up" nominations. She has also performed and written two solo shows: Stupid Foreigners and Bad Bride (which is currently running at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC). Giulia also co-hosts the highly acclaimed nationally touring storytelling show Stripped Stories as well as Dive Comedy at Freddy's Backroom in Brooklyn. She's appeared on Chelsea Lately, MTV, Vh1, TLC, Playboy TV, Late Night Republic and CNN. As a writer Giulia has worked on MTV's Girl Code and Silent Library. She has also contributed to BUST, Esquire.com, XOJane.com, Playgirl, NY Press, Gawker, AOL, Lifetimetv.com, and The Huffington Post. She was also a contributor to the anthology "My Parents Were Awesome" and a contributor and associate editor for the Mortified book series. Currently she is working on her first book The Bad Bride Guide. You can also see her soon in the web series Seeing Other People. More about Giulia at giuliarozzi.com
