a play seen through the eyes of Hannah, a 73 year-old slave; her sharp mother-wit proves she's worth much more than what she's being sold for on auction day.
In 1855, Hannah, aged 73, lived enslaved in Baltimore County on or about the estate of Caleb D. Goodwin at the time of his demise. She was listed as property right along with the oats, corn, and potatoes in the fields and livestock.
Please note: Tickets sales, on line, on day of performance "close out" 4 hours before the show begins. Tickets can still be purchased at the door.
