HONK!
HONK is a delightful musical based on the Hans Christian Anderson tale, "The Ugly Duckling". The main character, "Ugly", inexplicably hatched from a clutch of ducklings, soon finds he is not like his nest mates. Trouble begins when his harsh "honk" and large size make him the object of ridicule and he spends much of his time steering clear of a very hunger cat bent on making Ugly his meal. He meets a variety of animals on his journey, as one perilous situation after another arises until he finds himself in the presence of a beautiful female swan who shows him the power of love and acceptance as he becomes who he was born to be - a swan.
