Scientific Illustration
Angela Mele, illustrator of fungi and micro-organisms, will be hosting a course on scientific illustration.
Students will learn the technical and artistic side of illustrating natural specimens using graphite and other mediums.
Students under 18 are welcome, but they must have a parent present.
In order to acquire the materials for this class, pre-registration is required. All material for drawing will be included in registration costs.
NOTE!!! Please bring your own favorite specimens/artifacts/objects to draw! Shells, bones, taxidermy, owl pellets and stone tools are all a good bet.
ALSO!!! Please bring a small lamp (clip-on works well) if you have one to light your object!
