Firewise Workshop
Wildfires are a natural part of the ecosystem and commonly occur on our Western Washington landscapes. As a landowner you can take steps to increase the survivability of your family, home, and property before a wildfire begins. This workshop will prepare you to assess the fire risk on your property, utilize firewise construction and landscaping methods, and obtain the support you need to start protecting your home and property. Wildfire doesn't respect property boundaries, so we will also cover how to begin building your Firewise Community. You can even talk to a local landowner about his experience on becoming Firewise.
