The seventh incarnation of the RULE OF series invites seven writers to devise new ten-minute plays adhering to the same set of rules. (Sample rules from past shows: "Bright sunshine," "A brief speech about masturbation.")

RULE ONE | Seth's rule:
All plays must start with an unfortunate stain either occurring or having just occurred.

RULE THREE | Dan's rule:
"This reminds me of the time I (an action) with (a person)."
RULE FOUR | Matt's rule:
A location is referred to as 'my old stomping grounds.'
RULE FIVE | Rachael's rule:
A frantic knocking at a door.
RULE SIX | Jeff's rule:
Someone reminisces about a Nickelodeon show from the 90s.
RULE SEVEN | Brett's rule:
At some point, one character must physically applaud another character's line of dialogue.
