AFFGS Annual Fall Family Picnic & Potluck
Join us at the Laurelhurst Community Center for our ANNUAL FALL PICNIC - FUN for the whole family. Adoptive Friends & Families of Greater Seattle ("AFFGS") will have activities for each age group of children and for adults. This community center has a wonderful playground too.
DATE: Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014
TIME: 1-3 pm (later play outdoors too until 4 pm)
PLACE: Laurelhurst Community Center in Seattle
ADDRESS: 4554 NE 41st, Seattle, WA
COST: FREE for current members and prospective members.
Plus, you can join AFFGS through Brown Paper Tickets now, or at the event. Just $35 for 1 year; $60 for 2 years; and $85 for 3 years. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, supporting all types of adoptive families, adoptees and birth parents. AFFGS is 100% volunteer-powered and independent, not affiliated with any religious organization or adoption agency. We are working to create a thriving local community for adopted people!
More Details about this FUN picnic:
Private indoor room - for food and indoor games (indoor games inside if we have poor weather)
Outdoor Activities - huge playground, bubble wands and bubbles galore, tug-of-war, sack races, croquet and (possibly) bocce (weather permitting). Fun for kids and adults of all ages. The picnic is also a wonderful time to meet other families, and learn more about our year-round events, including our Small Group Dinner groups.
Adoptive Friends & Families of Greater Seattle (AFFGS) will be providing pizza, plates, cups and cutlery and drinks.
Please plan to bring a tasty treat to share with all. Remember to only feed your own children as some members have life threatening food allergies!
