Event
Soul Walking: Becoming Echad with Paulette Rochelle-Levy
Sunday, October 25, 10am-5pm
$70 members, $95 non-members
What does it mean when we pronounce the last word of the Shmathe Hebrew word echad--One? Soul Walking is a powerful process of doing and then becoming the Other. We learn to empty our minds to allow for full, authentic awareness of the greater whole. We embody our Higher Self, and by transcending into the space of unity, experience the soul of anothereven a person we may just have met or one who has passed over into other realms, or someone we may never have met at all. This is a very personal way of transcending our duality and separateness. Deep healing takes place when another sees our soul. And we can contribute to the Tikkun (Healing) of our world by learning to Soul Walk, to truly see the soul of one another.
The full-day workshop will begin with a movement exercise to ground us in our bodies and will build a safe container for participants to journey/meditate deeply together and be witnessed. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and to please arrive on time, so we can build a cohesive experience together. Please bring a bagged lunch to eat in the garden or money to purchase food at a nearby establishment.
No one turned away for lack of funds--please call the office at 510.704.9687 if you need financial assistance.
Paulette Rochelle-Levy, MFT, has been practicing Soul Walking for over fifteen years. She is a teacher, artist, dancer and therapist and the author of several books, including Dancing with the Divine and You Shall be a Blessing.
