Dan - Jo Duo Project
Seeing Dan Tepfer and Joanna Wallfisch perform on stage what is "immediately revealed [is] Wallfisch's beautifully clear voice, Tepfer's supreme pianism, and the empathy between them" (London Jazz, 2014) New York based British singer-songwriter Joanna, and French - American jazz pianist Dan, have been collaborating for just over a year, and they recently completed recording their first duo album. (yet to be released). This evening at The Bowery Poetry Club marks the New York debut of this fine musical pairing. They will be performing original songs from the record, and also reveal some of their own arrangements of Radio Head, Tim Buckley and Joni Mitchell.
Come on down to enjoy the music, and also the luscious boho-chic setting of the club... it'll blow your socks off!
