A little three-year old child witnesses the birth of a baby chicken, and begins to wonder about the mysterious pregnancy of his mother. As the story progresses, certain events will change the innocent perception of this child, who discovers the cycle of life unfolding in front of him. / Un nio de tres aos al ver nacer un pollito, comienza a preguntarse por el misterioso embarazo de su madre. Yolanda grows up in the shadow of La Lupe and with the help of her aunt, who is a big fan she decides to pursue her singing career. She is so passionate about singing that she Hill let nothing or no one get in her way. Although, she suffers tragedy and disappointment she is tenacious in reaching her goal, convinced that it is the only way for her to avoid staying in her small town to get married and repeat the abusive relationship of her abusive father and passive mother. The incredible music from La Lupe parallels the story of Yolanda. / Yolanda crece a la sombra de La Lupe, y con la ayuda de su ta, que es un gran fan de ella decide seguir adelante con su carrera de cantante. Ella es tan apasionada por el canto que Hill no permitas que nada ni nadie se interponga en su camino. Aunque, sufre la tragedia y la decepcin que es tenaz en alcanzar su meta, convencidos de que es la nica manera de que ella evite quedarse en la pequea ciudad para casarse y repetir la relacin abusiva de su padre abusivo y su madre pasiva. Pedro Prez-Rosado, codirector/co- producer of La Mala. Directed various documentaries on the Sahara, Nicaragua, Chiapas (Las Cenizas del Volcn), etc. Participant at various international festivals: San Sebastin, Havana, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Freiburg, FIPA (Cannes), etc. In 2004 he premiered Saharaui, Cuentos de una Guerra, winning awards in Freiburg and Valencia. He received the Tirant Award for the best film and actor, and best director in Lorca. In 2005 he premiered Agua con Sal, selected and winning awards at international festivals in San Sebastin, Montreal, New York, Los Angeles, Bangkok, Punta del Este (Uruguay), Valencia, etc. He won 2 Mostra Cinema del Mediterrani 2005 awards, 4 Premis Tirant in 2005, 2 Ciudad de Huelva awards for best actress and the special Libertad award in 2005. In 2008, he received an International Film Festival for Integration 2008 award.

Lilian Rosado, director and scriptwriter of La Mala. BA from the Higher School of Arts and the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisin de San Antonio de Los Baos, Cuba. Scriptwriter for the documentary Las Cenizas del Volcn, awardwinner at various international festivals, and the feature films Saharaui, Cuentos de una Guerra and Agua con Sal.

Pedro Prez-Rosado, co director- co productor de La Mala. Ha dirigido diferentes documentales, sobre el Sahara, Nicaragua, Chiapas (Las Cenizas del Volcn) etc. Participa en diferentes festivales internacionales, San Sebastin, La Habana, Nueva York, Los ngeles, Chicago, Friburgo, FIPA (Cannes) etc. En 2004 estrena Saharaui, Cuentos de una Guerra, premiado en Friburgo, Valencia, recibe Premis Tirant a la mejor pelcula y actor, mejor direccin en Lorca. En el 2005 estrena Agua con Sal y es seleccionada y premiada en festivales internacionales, San Sebastin, Montreal, Nueva York, Los ngeles, Bangkok, Punta del Este (Uruguay), Valencia, etc. 2 premios Mostra Cinema del Mediterrani 2005, 4 Premis Tirant 2005. 2 premios en Ciudad de Huelva, Mejor ACTRIZ y premio Libertad. 2005 y premio Festival sobre la Integracin 2008 en Valencia.

Lilian Rosado directora y guionista de La Mala. Licenciada en el Instituto Superior de Arte y en la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisin de San Antonio de Los Baos. Guionista del Documental Las Cenizas del Volcn premiado en diversos festivales internacionales, (y) de los largometrajes Saharaui, Cuentos de una Guerra y Agua con Sal.
