The Mass in Modern Times features movements of the liturgical mass - Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei - from modern day composers. Works by Basler and McClure will serve as musical bookends to our featured work, "A Diminished Mass" by Scottish composer, Alan Craig. It is a modern composition using the traditional text of the church mass, having beautiful melodies and innovative musical structure that is sung by chorus and three soloists with a string ensemble, piano and percussion. Join us for the North American premier of this exciting new work!
