The Art of Bad Men
It is 1945 and thousands of German POW's live in camps scattered throughout the U.S. Some are dedicated Nazis, others are barely old enough to hold a rifle, but all share a fear of an uncertain future as, back in Germany, their world collapses. They're frightened of the war, losing their home, and the vastness of the strange American landscape. In one Minnesota camp, a production of a Moliere play may give them hopethrough escape or transcendence.

Based on interviews conducted by playwright Vincent Delaney between 2003 and 2004, The Art of Bad Men brings to the stage a chapter of history treated as little more than a footnote for far too long.
