Suburban Swing Summer Celebration
Suburban Swing, Royal City, and Porto Swing Vancouver Are teaming together for Suburban Swings Final 15 year Summer Celebration. Benjamin Ricard will be in town one final time Aug. 21-24 at Suburban Swing and Vancouver!
Registration is available Sundays or online. Single classes and dances are available at the door. Friday Dance and the Tranky Doo sold Separately and at the door.
Ben will be helping us with our final summer celebration of 15 summers at Suburban Swing!
To give back to you once more, Ben will be offering his classes to you at an enormously amazing price! You do not want to miss this opportunity to learn from a master instructor. $10 a class! You will be able to learn the Tranky Doo! You can dance 3 nights for a crazy discount! Here's how!
Thursday, August 21 (8:30-10PM) Porto Swing Vancouver presents, The Tranky Doo class at the Scotiabank Dance Centre (677 Davie Street, Level 7, Marcuse Studio) $20 per person - UNLESS, you took the Tranky Doo class at Lindy March, then it's only $10!! Register at the door!
Friday Night Royal City Swing: If you register for any of the classes, Royal City will discount the door. You will only pay $5! WOW thats awesome! We will send them a list of registered dancers.
Saturday Aug 23, 2pm to 5pm There will be 3 beginner lindy hop classes that will bring you from the basics to a comfortable level on the social dance floor. So beginners, get ready to move your dance to another level! This will be progressional class focused on beginner level. Every class is essential for a beginner lindy hopper.
Saturday Aug 23 530pm-630pm There will be a all levels class of tricks and air moves. This is exciting! Ben has some great moves for everyone to learn!
Sunday Aug 24 430pm -630pm There will be one advanced class for two hours. This will be for dancers who are comfortable with their lindy hop on the social dance floor. These dancers do not have to think about footwork, but are ready,open to learn style and showmanship! This class is only $20 for the two hour class. This is one class I am looking forward to and will be taking myself. Everyone can learn showmanship.

Finally if you can not afford these classes and do not want to miss out please contact suburban swing privately. We need Volunteers to help out Saturday at the dance in exchange for the workshops.
Saturday and Sunday Aug 23-24 there will be two dances! if you buy tickets on the Saturday, it will only be $10 for both nights. Otherwise regular price if bought separately.
