In Times of Crisis Philosophy is Not a Luxury
During this afternoon event, Jeff Carreira, Director of Education, EnlightenNext, will explore the rich contributions of the often overlooked philosophical tradition as articulated by Ralph Waldo Emerson, William James, Charles Sanders Peirce and John Dewey. These foundational thinkers, who helped characterize and shape the American Ethos, offer meaningful precedents to the emergence of Integral Theory and Evolutionary Enlightenment. Carreira will disclose the historical and philosophical heritage that can inform and catalyze a new chapter in the evolution of American thought.  Carreira re-enlists Pragmatic and Transcendentalist ideals in the ambitious pursuit of transforming consciousness and culture.
