Celebrating 50 years as a songwriter, Chris Smither returns to the Walters for a solo acoustic concert that supports the release of his latest albums, Still on the Levee, and Link of Chain (recorded by Bonnie Raitt, among others). Called "one of the absolute best singer-songwriters in the world" by the Associated Press, Smither has been dazzling audiences with his masterful guitar stylings and original songs since the 1960's, and he continues to deliver evocative sonic textures meshed with spare, brilliant songs. www.smither.com
