The Forum Stories at Leon
Join us for evening of creative inspiration and live storytelling at Leon Art Gallery on Friday August 22nd. We'll sip drinks, chat with fellow explorers, and listen to the unique journeys of two of the city's most celebrated creatives, Barth Quenzer and Wesley Schultz. Admission is free but donations are welcome and will support future programming at the gallery.

Seating is limited to 45 and is on a first come, first served basis. Please use the ticketing link below to RSVP (Responding to this email does not reserve your spot.) Arrive promptly at 7 pm in order to get a drink, find your seat, and say hi to friends.  If you're unable to RSVP in time, don't worry! We'll record the stories and share them soon.

The Storytellers:

Wesley Schultz cofounded and leads the Grammy Award winning band, The Lumineers. Dedicated to the growth of his artwork, he relocated to Denver in the mid 2000s in order to more fully focus on music and touring. After the success of The Lumineers self-titled album Schultz continues to work with the band and tour extensively.

Barth Quenzer is an award winning teaching artist. Using a process of design thinking, he asks his students to follow their ideas. With a focus on empathy and inquiry as the impetus for designing learning experiences, Barth helps young artists bring their ideas to life.

The Hosts:

Leon Art Gallery is located in the Uptown neighborhood of Denver and focuses on one-month solo art exhibitions by Denver's finest emerging artists. Since opening in August of 2011, Leon has grown to showcase the most compelling contemporary art work from the local arts scene, as well as gaining a reputation for showcasing some of the most intimate and special music shows by local and touring bands. Leon is also available for private events, receptions, and parties. Owners Lindsay Giles McWilliams, Eric Robert Dallimore and Eric Gustaf Nord invite you to stop by, say hello, spread the word, share your wild ideas, and we'll show you something beautiful.

The Forum Stories is both a live storytelling series and podcast hosted by Sam Pike. Through sharing the true stories of Denver creatives, Pike encourages people to live lives of greater curiosity and personal satisfaction. Find more stories on iTunes, Instagram, & Vimeo. TFS would like to thank Illegal Pete's and Ligature Creative for their sponsorship
