Sustainable SUNDAY Tomato Workshop
Tomatoes are taking over! This is the peak point of the season to harvest this crop; they are at their ripest and most abundant. If you want to purchase the juiciest produce, but feel overwhelmed by the bounty, then let Chef Ian introduce you to a variety of simple preserving techniques while he demos a raw sauce and a cooked sauce. (Yes...there will be a tomato sauce tasting!) Ian will entertain and inspire in this truly "farm-to-table" demonstration, where we begin with a tour of our tomato houses. This cooking workshop will enable you to keep the most succulent & nutrient-rich tomatoes for months to come.
Registration Required. $20 per person. $5 for each additional family member. Registrants receive 10% off Ian's cookbooks in our store.
