Nicene Belgian Farmhouse Style Sour Saison Beer Release

DESCRIPTION:
Council Brewing is proud to announce our first bottle release and our first Barrel Aged, Sour beer. "Nicene" Belgian Farmhouse Style Saison, fermented and aged in Gewurztraminer white wine barrels and bottle conditioned prior to release. It is brewed with traditional Saison ingredients to provide a rustic bready malt backbone and paired with the tropical fruit forward wine and French oak notes.

Over time, Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus will continue to develop the gentle sourness and earthy flavors. This Sour Saison was manually packaged and conditioned with high carbonation for optimal enjoyment in a tulip glass. Where did the name come from? Just as the Council of Nicaea, produced a simple confession, the Nicene Creed, our Nicene ale represents the patient efforts of bringing many ingredients together to create this thoughtful beverage.

BOTTLE PURCHASE DETAILS:
Beginning on Tuesday August 26th 2014, you will be able to purchase (2) bottles of Nicene Saison. Beautifully packaged in a Belgian 750 ml with a cork and cap to accommodate high carbonation and extended aging of the beer.

RELEASE PARTY:
We will be hosting a release party on Saturday, September 13th, 2014 throughout the entire day (11AM-10PM). You may pick up your bottle(s) beginning Saturday, September 13th, 2014 through October 18th during regular Tasting Room Hours (see www.councilbrew.com for tasting room hours). We will have a 1/2 barrel keg of Nicene on tap that day. (Tasters of draft Nicene are sold separately and not included in purchase price of bottles.) Any bottles not picked up by Saturday, October 18th, 2014 will be surrendered back to Council Brewing Co - No Exceptions.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Please use your name when purchasing the bottles. Only you may pick up the bottles, no proxies allowed. You may not purchase bottles under another person's name. To retrieve your bottles, you will be required to show your proof of purchase (your "Brown Paper Tickets" ticket) and valid ID valid ID for the purchase of alcohol and to ensure your name matches to your bottle purchase.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:
Please note that we will not issue refunds, exchanges, or returns. All sales are final.

SHIPPING:
Council Brewing will not ship the bottles. Bottles must be retrieved at the tasting room during regular tasting room hours.
