Behind the Silkscreen
Learn silkscreening and design fundamentals from Laura Matranga of Asbestos Press. Laura has worked on a variety of concert posters and brings the culture of graphic design and craftsmanship printing to Verge. Within the two-day workshop participants will experience the silkscreening process from beginning to end. Stretch the screen, burn the image and ink the screen to create a one-of-a-kind image that can be replicated. Master single color printing and explore multi-color printing techniques. THIS IS A TWO DAY WORKSHOP. Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28. 12PM-4PM. For Adults.
