Chant Camp at the Neighborhood Music School, New Haven CT
In the morning session you'll learn to sing and recognize the medieval plainchant modes BY EAR, using chants from medieval European sources. The afternoon session will be devoted to medieval psalms & canticles, and how they link to their antiphons; any mystery about the 8 modes and 9 psalm/canticle tones will be banished by plenty of singing.
Limited to 40 participants.
