2009 Digital Storytelling Workshop
Birmingham-based learning design firm g8four [pronounced gate four] will lead a Digital Storytelling Workshop as a part of the 11th Annual Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival's Children's Film Extravaganza.
During the workshops students will imagine storylines and characters, storyboard events, and create them in Scratch, a digital environment that supports creative expression. These workshops are designed with children ages 8-12 in mind but all ages are welcome. Workshop participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops but it is not required.
