Jan DeGaetani: A Musical Legacy
The Rochester Chamber Orchestra will open its 2014-15 season with a tribute to the late Jan DeGaetani, the much beloved professor of voice at the Eastman School of Music and renowned concert artist. The concert, conducted by Gerard Floriano, will commemorate the 25th anniversary of DeGaetani's death, and will feature works by women composers.
Gerard Floriano has been named Artistic Director of the Rochester Chamber Orchestra for the 2014-15 season. He will become the orchestra's new music director on August 1, 2015.
