Baladino with Fifth House Ensemble

Performing on instruments both ancient and modern, Baladino has made a name for itself on the world stage from traditional concert halls to YouTube. With its members hailing from Berlin and Tel Aviv, this Mediterranean folk band offers fresh, yet authentic interpretations of Saphardic and Ladino melodies.
For our final Green Concert of the season, Baladino joins forces with Chicago's innovative Fifth House Ensemble to bring together instruments and traditions from the wide span of cultures that fed this musical language, updating it with their own youthful energy and contemporary backgrounds in jazz, improvisation and electronica.
General Admission: $10 in advance; $15 day of event
