Have you ever wanted to be a showgirl? Or perhaps join the circus?

We are getting very excited for our third annual Cirque de Ville this Halloween! Care to be a part of the intrigue? Join Kristen Minsky for seven Sundays of dance at the Chifferobe Atelier!

Every Sunday, you'll enjoy a quick warm-up, followed by learning part of a combination inspired by the movie musicals of yesteryear and precision dance companies. Eventually these combinations will become a choreographed routine for you to perform at Cirque!

Performance Friday, Oct. 31 at Cirque de Ville III

What shoes should I wear?
A low, danceable heel is very important. If you already own a character shoe, please bring it to our Sundates. What should I wear to the workshop?
Please wear dance attire or comfortable clothing that you might wear to the gym or a yoga class.

What about the costume?
Costumes are not included in the cost of the workshop. Most often, workshop attendees have been asked to purchase their own costumes. In the case of this workshop, and in order to perform, a one-time fee of $40 will be required no later than the second week to pay for a pair of dance grade (super durable) black fishnets with backseam (retail value $17) and costume with hairpiece (retail value $46).
