Notes on Craft - Tone and Voice
This autumn, the Writers Guild Foundation will host a series of six evenings entitled Notes on Craft. Each evening will feature two or three writers in conversation with Academy-nominated writer Dan Petrie Jr. (Beverly Hills Cop; The Big Easy) on various aspects of the screenwriting craft. The formal part of the evening will be followed by an audience Q & A.
Writers taking part (subject to availability) will include Scott Z. Burns (The Informant, The Bourne Ultimatum), Margaret Nagle (Warm Springs; Side Order of Life), Naomi Foner (Bee Season) and Robert Nelson Jacobs (Chocolat; Waterhorse: Legend of the Deep). PANELIST LINE-UP SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
