Event
The Streetlight People
We are delighted to invite you to join us for an evening of improvised theater at the SF Playhouse in downtown San Francisco.
We'll start with some short scenes and games using audience suggestions, followed by a longer improvised play or 'movie'.
David Norfleet will be providing music, and Mikaela Bennett will be our lighting improvisor. Seating in this venue is limited to 50 guests, and this show is expected to sell out well in advance as have our previous shows.
"I've seen two shows - they were packed and The Streetlight People rocked. They are brave, curious, playful and good friends....oh and they're good improvisers too! See them." -William Hall Author, The Playbook: Improv Games for Performers
About The Streetlight People: We are an ensemble of five people who share a passion for improvisational theater. We met while taking classes at BATS Improv in 2007 and have been playing together ever since.
We love improvisation and playing together. Collaborative story-telling, finding truth in the moment, and supporting one another inspire us. Creating something from nothing, taking risks together, and embracing the unknown thrill us. In practicing these elements of improvisation, we hope to create special moments that we can share with you.
Individually we are Kevin Bohnert, Pam McLeod, Rish Sanghvi, Sima Sanghvi and Lisa Wang.
Together we are The Streetlight People.
