August 7th On-The-Farm Dinner: Vegan Night!
Can you believe it's already August? The summer is flying by - one Edgemere Farm dinner at a time!
We're back at it again this Thursday, August 7th for our FIRST ever all-vegan menu. You would think since we're a vegetable and fruit farm, we would have had an all-vegetarian menu by now. So to make up for it, we're bringing in the best of the best - the Grown In Brooklyn makers of Barry's Tempeh.
What is tempeh you ask? It's a blend of fermented beans and grains used as a satisfying (and tasty) substitute for meat. That said, you don't have to be a vegan or vegetarian to love this meal! Not only is Barry's Tempeh delicious, it's rich in enzymes, amino acids and probiotics and made with all organic, wholesome ingredients. Served with the most local veggies our chefs can get their hands on, you'll find this meal a refreshing break from your normal dining experience. So come on down to Edgemere Farm and let these experts show you just how good tempeh and vegan can be!

DIRECTIONS:
If you plan to arrive by public transportation, take the A-train heading towards Far Rockaway and get off at the Beach 44th Street Station. You will see yellow sandwich board signs for Edgemere Farm once you get to street level.
