Sour Beers with The Mad Fermentationist!
Mike is back! After spending two months with us last year, The Mad Fermentationist is joining us again this summer for a week of blending and bottling sour beers.
Here's your chance to drink 5 six ounce pours (30oz total) of sour beers brewed at Modern Times while hearing Mike explain the intricate process of making them. He'll talk you through bug sourcing, recipe formulation, brewing, fermenting, barrel-aging, and fruit additions, among other titillating topics. Mike will also reserve plenty of time to answer questions and engage in a wide-ranging discussion of American sour beers.
A truly unique opportunity to drink some delicious sour beers while learning more about them from one of the foremost experts in the field.
