ake part in a workshop with Ben Owen, from Seagrove NC and a sixth generation potter. Owen will demonstrate his techniques for throwing pots and discuss glazing and firing techniques. Many different functional and decorative forms and styles will be made that have been a foundation in Ben's family pottery and his studies while in college and abroad. Open discussion will be encouraged during this special workshop. This workshop is open to potters and pottery enthusiasts!

Directions: Start towards Manteo NC.
From West - take Hwy 64 East across Va. dare Bridge onto Roanoke Island. Turn left at the light onto Hwy 64 Business South. Drive 1.1 miles. At the first light turn right onto Greenville street and then bear left onto Uppowoc St. The Professional Arts building will be the first building on the left.

From the East: Take Hwy 158 to intersection with Hwy 64 then Hwy 64 west across the Bridge to Roanoke Island. Turn Right at the light. Drive 1.1 miles. At the first light turn right onto Greenville street and then bear left onto Uppowoc St. The Professional Arts building will be the first building on the left.
